Wooden packaging materials requirements for shipments to Shenzhen(SZX)

Please be informed of the following restrictions instructed by the local customs in SZX.
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

　1. Effective Date
　　Immediately ~ until further notice

　2. Restriction Subject
　　wooden packaging materials using raw wood or solid wood for shipments to/via
　　Shenzhen
　　*regardless whether there is the IPPC mark or not

　3. Requirements
　　- Basically, they cannot be directly transported to Shenzhen. Highly recommend
　　using alternative packaging materials for the shipments before departing
　　from origin, such as plastic pallets, paper pallets, or metallic pallets.
　　- If the goods are packed in wooden crates or cannot be repacked,
　　shipments still be delivered to Shenzhen in their original packaging
　　but need to perform as following :
　　●　In the case the IPPC mark is already confirmed at declaration
　　The random inspection is required and they must be quarantined.
　　If no live pests are detected, the customs clearance will be permitted.
　　●　In the case the IPPC mark is not confirmed at declaration
　　They must be exterminated or disposed of under customs supervision.
