Please be informed of the following restrictive measures for the transportation of food stuffs arriving at Beijing Airport (PEK).

1. Effective Date
Immediately, until further notice
2. Applicable Cargo
All food stuffs to / beyond PEK
3. Outline
- Prohibition of import of subject cargo to PEK that originate in the following 10 prefectures
【Restricted Area】Fukushima, Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Miyagi, Niigata, Nagano, Saitama, Tokyo and Chiba prefecture
- For shipments originating in prefectures other than the above 10 prefectures, importing is prohibited while transiting through the above 10 prefectures.
- For shipments originating in prefectures other than the above 10 prefectures, and that do not transit through the above 10 prefectures can only be imported with submitting a ''certificate of origin''. And must take customs inspection upon arrival.
4. Others
- Customers are requested to confirm the customs procedures required at PEK in advance, as well as the transportation route / transportability of the shipment, the necessary procedures and documents.
- Please kindly note that we will not be responsible for any instructions provided by the authorities for the return or destruction of the shipment, and the customer may be asked for any costs incurred.
